The Treasure of Family...

"Great are the works of the Lord,
studied by all who delight in them.
Full of splendor and majesty is his work,
and his righteousness endures forever"
- Ps. 111:2-3

One of the best "works of the Lord" that we get to delight in is the FAMILY!  What an amazing design God had..two individual people falling in love and being united in marriage to form a family.

In our case, we went from being two individuals to (fast-forward almost 13 years) a very lively family of six!

To celebrate and "delight in" some of the beautiful families that we have had the privilege of working with, we put together a little video for you to enjoy!

A "Happily-Ever-After" Story

In our line of work, we get to smile...allot!  One wedding that always brings a smile to my heart is Ryan and Nicole.

Nicole became a beautiful friend to us long before she had met Ryan.  She is one of those people that brings joy with her when she walks into a room.  When she told us about Ryan entering her life we were thrilled for her!  Not long after, a wedding date was arranged ♥

Due to a schedule conflict, we almost were not able to shoot their wedding.  With a little arranging (and re-arranging) we were able to be a part of their wonderful day and capture these beautiful moments as they started their lives together.

Family Fun!

So, we recently took a standard office space and transformed it into a studio for one of our Extended Family Session.  We brought in some big guns...yes folks, that is a 6 ft. light that you see below.  Crazy big piece of equipment but it does an amazing job...especially when you are working with a large group of people.

The family had come in from all over the map - from BC to North York for  this session.  We are always happy to be a great "excuse" for family to get together!  I think it adds to the excitement and energy in the room when loved-ones are all gathered together.

In the end, we had a great time with this great family!  We started with more "formal" poses and as the evening went on and everyone got into the groove of things ended-up with some great "just for fun" stuff!

We had fun putting together this short video of the session...Check it out!
