Happy New Year! | A Fresh Outlook

Ah, the New Year stretches in front of us.  What amazing moments lay ahead of us in the days and months to come?  Will it be a grooms' first look at his bride...a father walking his daughter down that long isle...a kiss...a look...that first dance.  Whatever the moment, our cameras will be ready to capture and preserve for a lifetime.

Justin & Tara | Appleby College | Oakville Wedding Photography

This past weekend we were so thrilled to be part of Justin and Tara's long awaited wedding day.  This couple was surrounded by people who loved them the entire day.  From the first hours of the morning, at the salon, the happy tears of joy were flowing.  After a beautiful ceremony and lots of fun the sky eventually gave us a sunshine rain... although we were well prepared for this excitement!  We had successfully completed the bridal party images and were then able to head for cover without getting too wet ☺!  We continued grabbing stunning images of these two Love-Birds inside the gorgeous John Bell Chapel on the campus of Appleby College in Oakville.  Justin and Tara clearly enjoyed this special time together where we were able to create some priceless romantic images for them.

Josh & Sam - Married! Indian Wells Golf Club, Burlington Wedding Photography

It was a delight and honour to be part of Josh & Samantha's special day this past Saturday.  I honestly had a hard time holding my camera still because I was laughing so much throughout the entire day! 

Dark rain clouds rolled in first thing in the morning as we were getting shots of the girls getting ready at the salon, but they were no match for the celebration that surrounded this beautiful couple!  It was a joy to see friends and family loved-on Josh & Sam.  They celebrated all that God had done, was doing and was going to do with this amazing couple!  Without a doubt Josh & Sam....you are loved!  ☺

 One thing that struck me throughout the day was how many beautiful, Christ-centred examples of Godly marriages surrounded Josh & Sam.  Not only in both sets of parents but literally as I looked around the reception room I saw couple after couple who openly love each other and Jesus.  Something that I know Josh & Sam will treasure for years to come.

One of the great joys in what we do is when we get to present a bride and groom with all of their beautiful wedding images for the first time.  This is a magical moment that makes all of our hard work worth every late night.

We recently had the privilege of showing Damon & Naomi their beautiful wedding images in her parents home.  We set-up a projector and the "big screen" for the premier of their wedding images.  There were tears of joy and bursts of laughter....as they re-lived their romantic wedding day.  Love you guys!
